CPR Wood Cabooses

    CPR owned over 1000 of these "traditional" wooden cabooses, built starting in the 1920's.  Although originally sheathed all in wood, the cupola was soon sheathed in metal, and one window on each side closed in.  The life of these cabooses was extended by sheathing the sides with plywood during the 1950's.
    Kit features new simplified construction for caboose kits: only three parts make up the complete body; main body, roof and one piece cupola.  This kit includes etched brass steps and ladder side rails, grab irons, brake gear and decals for both the CPR Block and Script lettering schemes.
