The "Langell Boys" was built in 1890 at St Clair, Michigan by ship owner
Simon Langell and named for his seven sons. The ship burned and sank on
Lake Huron in 1931. The ship was typical of the hundreds of small wooden
lumber boats that sailed the Great Lakes in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
